Welcome. I’m happy to see you here.

Peggy Rost, CSWA

Clinical Social Worker Associate – Not Licensed

I am Peggy, a licensed Therapist.

My name is Peggy Rost (she/her) and I am a registered Clinical Social Work Associate (#A12855) I’m currently working toward licensure. I specialize in working with adults and older adults who seek support in navigating life transitions and relationships, and who struggle with challenges related to depression, anxiety, substance use, and grief. I am also experienced in helping those who are affected by chronic illnesses overcome barriers to support their quality of life.

I utilize interventions such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I firmly believe in a therapeutic relationship that is client-centered and I am here to walk alongside you to help determine a path of exploration that honors your values and goals.

It is a brave decision to look inward and consider a change. I believe that every individual has the innate ability to live a meaningful, fulfilling life and it is my job to help uncover personal strengths and introduce new tools to support growth and healing. It would be my privilege to accompany you on this journey and I will greet you with warmth and curiosity. All are welcome.

It’s important to find a therapist that’s a good fit. Here’s what you can expect if you come to see me!

Initially, we will meet to discuss your concerns and ensure that I am a good fit for your needs. We will go through the presenting issues and develop a treatment plan that meets your and your family’s needs. For young children, I will meet with the parents individually at first. I enjoy using humor and playfulness to create a relaxed environment.
